Since 2000, Josh Schicker has been making his mark on the music scene with a series of independent albums and national tours. In 2005, he had the privilege of working with Grammy-winning engineer/producer Mitch Dane, resulting in the creation of the remarkable album "Moonlighting." This album was re-released in 2007, featuring the unforgettable track, "Good Mothers, Don't Leave!" which even got a mention in the New York Times Best-Seller, Lisa McMann's young adult novel, "Gone."

Schicker's music has continued to shine with features on various compilations, including MPress Records' "New Arrivals Vol. 4," alongside other talented artists.

In 2015, his song "No Place Like You" from the album "Moonlighting" was prominently featured in the indie film "Old Fashioned," further cementing his place in the world of indie music.
